It's Been A While

Hello strangers! Well, this past week has been very busy! My baby sister, Laurie and her family came in from Wyoming to visit! It was so good to see all of them.

Friday, we went to have family pictures made. What a headache family pictures can be! When you have 7 kids ages 5 and under you should go ahead and have the mindset of "DRAMA!"

Saturday morning I finally went to the doctor to see what was going on with the dizzy spells I have been having. Come to find out I have a double ear infection and an inner ear infection. The doctor said he was surprised that I was even able to walk. (me too for that matter!)

Before the doctor left the room I was begging for some sort of miracle shot to help make me feel better. I was lucky enough to get one shot. Come to think of it, I don't even know what the shot was. Oh well, at least it put my mind at ease for a few moments.

Before leaving I asked the the doctor how long the antibiotic would take to kick in. He told me that within 2 days I should feel much better. I now know that was a bunch of crock! (not the pot) Today is day 5 and the last day of taking my medication. I feel tons better, but I'm still not up to speed. I can actually open my eyes!! Amazing!

That's all for now. I need to get ready to go grocery shopping when my mom gets home from work. I'm not a huge fan of taking 3 small boys to the grocery store. I tried that today with my mom and it didn't turn out so well! Have a great day!

We have a grandkid picture of the oldest 6 when Garrison (the oldest) wasn't even 4 yet. It is the worst picture! It makes me laugh so hard. Lucas Lingo and Tanner Twisters

Tanner while riding home from daycare out of the blue speaks up and says, "I have issues!!!....hahahaha, I have issues!" The hard car went into hysterics.

Lucas looked at me the other day and said..."Mom I fank you're having a nervous breakdown!" I laughed so hard! I actually was having a very calm day!

Lucas must have picked up the phrase, "I'm going to have a nervous breakdown" from listening to me say it. Now when anyone is getting crazy or upset he says, "Yep, they're having a nervous breakdown!"

Last wednesday night the youth group at church went roller skating. I decided that it would be a fun thing for Lucas to try. As we were leaving, Lucas turned to me and said, "This is the worst day of my wife!". What, you didn't have any fun I asked. Lucas-"nope, I hate skating." ( He hated skating cause I wouldn't give him any money to play video games with. I figure he gets enough of that at home.

Lucas- Hey mom, can we please play the "weed" now? Me-"You mean can we play the Wii!" Lucas (rolling his eyes)- it's called WEED, mom!"

Lucas- "Mom, I'm having a nervous breakdown!" Me-"Why?!!" Lucas- "Cause the movie isn't working!"

Me-"Lucas, why aren't you listening today?" Lucas-"Cause the voices in my head are telling me not too. You see, there's like one side the voices are saying yes and the other side the voices are saying no!" Me-"You'd better start listening to the voices that are saying YES!"

Me- "Lucas, why were you so bad for Meme? (my mom)" Lucas-"I told ya those voices are being mean again!"

Out of the blue.

Lucas -"Hey mom, I think your butt says it's on fire!"

I was telling Lucas that he couldn't do something.
Lucas-"Hey mom, you see my mouth? My mouth says YES."
Me-(gritting my teeth)-"Hey Lucas, you see my mouth? My mouth says "NO!!!!!"
Arriving to a church get together.
Me-"When we get out of this car, I want you to act like you have some sense Lucas!"
Lucas-(rolling his eyes)"O.K. mom, I'll act like I have two cents!"

Tanner- "Mom, I wanna some chocolate milk, white now!"Me- "Tanner ask nicely and I'll get it for you."Tanner-"Pease get me some chocolate milk, right now!"(as I put his milk with the chocolate in a sippy cup)Tanner-"Don't shake it mom, you heara me! No shakin'!"(I give him the cup he soon realizes that the milk doesn't taste right cause it needs to be mixed up.)Tanner- "mom, it's no good. I don't wike it!" Me- "oh well, I tried to tell you (as a sponge bob sippy cup goes flyin' by my head and explodes on the floor. Needless to say there wasn't anymore chocolate milk that day!)

(on the way home from church sunday the boys were playing with a clothespin. Lucas had it until Tanner yoinked it away then all heck broke loose) Lucas- "Tanner give that back to me, right now!"Tanner (laughing ), "Nope, I can't"Lucas-"Yes you can, give it back!"Tanner , Nope, I can't, it's in my butt...hahahahaha" (as he's sticking it in the back of his car seat)Lucas-(totally flipping out at this point) Tanner, get it out of your butt right now! I mean now!)Tanner (again laughing) "nope, I can't....it's not in my butt you crazy!"(of course the adults in the car don't help the matter at hand, All Jesse and I could do is laugh. It took forever to be able to keep a straight face again!

Tanner-"Mama, I wanna a popsicle"Me-"Not right now Tanner, you need to eat breakfast!"Tanner-"I said I wanna a popsicle, PEAS!!!!"Me-"Ok, you can have 1 while I'm cooking breakfast."Tanner-(holding up his middle finger) Just one mama and thasa it! You herd me?!!!"

I was trying to sleep in a little one morning while Tanner just sat there starring at me. Tanner looks up at me all innocentlyand throws his hands up in the air looking at me saying..."What, what, what is it mom? Washa lookin at?"

On the way to church last SundayTanner-"Ma, ma, ma, I wahna my bicycle."Me-"Tanner, you mean your motorcycle."Tanner-"No, Bicycle!"Me-"Tanner, say motor"Tanner-"motor"Me-"motorcycle"Tanner-"motor-bicycle" (grinning big knowing what he's doing)Me-"no, Tanner, not motor bicycle, motorcycle"Tanner-"nope, motor bicycle!"
