Happy MD To You and You and YOU!

I hope that everyone out there had a most fabulous Mother's Day. If you didn't get a chance to relax today, then try and take at least 10 minutes out of your busy schedule tomorrow just for you.

I heard the most amusing line on the radio this afternoon. It went a little something like this...

radio d.j. man- everyone needs to tell their mom, Happy Mother's day and THANK YOU for letting me live in your uterus!" For some reason unknown to me, that phrase nearly had me wetting my pants driving down the road. As soon as I arrived back to my grandmother's house and found my mom I decided that I should tell her "Happy Mother's Day!" She started to say "Thanks" and then I finished it up with "Thanks for letting me live in your Uterus!" My mom just looked at me like I had just escaped from a mental institution. (Believe you me if I would've really been in the looney bin, then she, (my mom,) would have been right there beside me in the next room!)

This is what my day consisted of:

- Church @ 9:30am

- got a call from my nephew Eli wishing me a Happy Mother's Day! He's such a cutie and I am without a doubt his FAVORITE aunt!

- Grandma's for lunch (home made tacos, mmmmmm...good!)

- played with the boys outside for a while

- took my cousin to High Point

- stopped by Krispy Kreme. Actually we passed it on the way home and saw the HOT and fresh sign on. Couldn't resist!

- (need I say more???????????)

- totally stuffed my face all the way back to Randleman

- played outside with the kids again

- gave kids a bath

- put kids to bed

- jumped on the Internet for a minute to check email and decided to write this post

I know, I know, you're so fetchin jealous, huh?? Who wouldn't want to run around like a chicken with their head cut off on a day that should be totally dedicated to them?
